The Shocking Moment A YouTube Boxer Headbutted His Opponent, Live On PPV, In Round One

The Shocking Moment A YouTube Boxer Headbutted His Opponent, Live On PPV, In Round One

It happened in the first round.

YouTuber Ryan Taylor was disqualified from his boxing match with DK Money after a shock headbutt in the first round.

The duo took to the ring on the undercard of Deji vs Alex Wassabi in an attempt to finally settle their differences live on pay-per-view.

Anyone hoping for a slugfest got the furthest thing from that, however. Taylor planted a firm headbutt on Money's nose early on to the shock of commentary.

Taylor claimed he had been hit low earlier in the bout and believes the referee should've taken notice.

Fans inside the OVO Arena Wembley were furious with Taylor and wanted to see a proper fight.

Stromedy, who had a fight earlier in the night and who was in Money's corner, told Mirror Fighting immediately after the DQ:

"That was f***ing b**** s***!"

"I don’t know what the f*** happened, that’s what I’m trying to guess.

"What the f*** was that?!"

Users on social media have reacted to the fight and they can't believe what they saw.

One commented: "Ryan Taylor giving me Zidane Vibes."

A second tweeted: "That kid put hours, days, months into training for you to headbutt him?"

While someone else put: "Ruined the fight completely. What on earth was he thinking?"

A number of famous faces are in attendance at this evening's show, including Derek Chisora and Anthony Joshua.

Deji is the younger brother of KSI and is yet to win a fight in his career.

The 25-year-old was beaten by Jake Paul on the undercard of KSI vs Logan Paul, which sparked Jake's move into combat sports.

Deji returned to the ring in 2021 and was destroyed by TikTok star Vinnie Hacker in convincing fashion.
