Tenshin Nasukawa Claims He's Going To Knock Floyd Mayweather Out

MMA, boxing, exhibition, proper fight; whatever is happening between Floyd Mayweather and Tenshin Nasukawa we still aren't sure.

Tenshin Nasukawa might not actually know if his fight with Floyd Mayweather will count officially yet but that doesn't mean the Japanese kickboxer doesn't want to knock his soon to be opponent out.

The relationship between Tenshin Nasukawa and Floyd Mayweather is more on and off than JD and Elliot. I mean Nasukawa and Mayweather are hardly Dr Ross and Rachel from bookkeeping but their on and off fight is intriguing at the least.

Mayweather decided to come out of retirement, announced his latest boxing fight with kickboxer Nasukawa, then came home to say that he wouldn't be fighting and then the whole thing was on again.

The confusion was over whether or not the fight was an exhibition or not. The man with a 50-0 professional boxing record claimed he'd agreed to a three round fight, not televised and not official but had to cancel when it seemed that wasn't the case.

Eventually Rizin FF CEO Nobuyuki Sakakibara, who is promoting the fight, claimed it was back on although rules haven't yet been announced.

Despite now knowing whether or not he'll be officially beating Mayweather or not, Nasukawa is ready to knock his upcoming opponent out. The 20 year old was speaking after winning his 28th kickboxing fight at the weekend:

Most people wanted to see Mayweather return to face Manny Pacquiao for the second time, or another boxer, but his most recent return will be a second boxing fight in a row against someone who isn't a boxer.

It seems the confusion over the word 'exhibition' is the only issue that stopped this fight in the first place. No matter what happens Mayweather will stay 50-0 but he might still get knocked out first.
