Khabib Nurmagomedov has expressed a serious interest in a MMA/boxing crossover fight against Floyd Mayweather, and he's very confident about his chances.
The Russian fighter, who is currently UFC's lightweight champion, is convinced he would beat the undefeated boxer in an '11 rounds of boxing and final round of MMA' bout.

In fact, Khabib doesn't think Mayweather stands a chance of knocking him out.
"I don't think he can knock me out in 11 rounds." he told TMZ Sports.
"And what's he going to do last round? Five minutes with me? I'm going to take him down, I'm going to maul this guy. What's he going to do?
"Of course, in the boxing game he's very good. But I don't think he can knock me out."
Nurmagomedov went on to compare Mayweather's age to his father, and spoke in more detail about a potential fight.

"He just wants to be on top media, you know. I saw it was his birthday a couple of days ago, he became like 48 or 49 years old or something." he continued.
"But he's almost like my father's age. I don't understand how I'm going to punch his face.
"If you want to fight, come to UFC. This is real fight. I am not a boxer, I am not just a wrestler. I am an MMA fighter.
"If he's interested, maybe we can make something like my father talked about before, like 11 rounds of boxing and one round of MMA.

"OK, let's go, 11 rounds of three minutes boxing and last round, round 12, five minutes of MMA. If he makes the deal, I can fight."
