Dad spends £1,000 to purchase KSI and Logan Paul's Prime energy drink as Christmas present

Dad spends £1,000 to purchase KSI and Logan Paul's Prime energy drink as Christmas present

The hydration drink has been hard to get a hold of, with videos going viral of people rushing to shops and fighting to secure a bottle.

A viral TikTok has revealed that one parent has spent over £1,000 just to secure the energy drink Prime for his kids at Christmas.

The drink named 'Prime' was created by social media sensations KSI and Logan Paul in 2022, and it has since go onto become incredibly popular in the UK.

It's also been a remarkably hard drink to get a hold of, with videos going viral showing people fighting and running in shops around the country just get their Prime fix.

Prime has also become extremely valuable as a result, with extreme prices being seen on the likes of eBay, but it seems one parent has bitten the bullet and spend big to secure the drink for his kids.

The drink had recently been added to some Aldi stores around the country, but shock ensued when customers were seen fighting over the drinks as early as 8am.

It was listed as a 'Special Buy' which means once they're gone, they're gone - which is why people flocked to stores to try and grab a bottle.

But that pails in comparison to the news that a Dad had chosen to spend up to £1,000 on the energy drink for his sons as a Christmas present. And to think, all I got was Lynx Africa and three packs of socks.

The shop 'Wakey Wines' which is in Wakefield, Yorkshire has gone viral on TikTok as the owner Ameer Khan has amassed a following of 466k followers and people have come from far and wide to visit the small store which sells Prime.

KSI had previously addressed the situation with the energy drink claiming people should not have to overpay for the drink as it is supposed to widely available for the standard price of £2 in supermarkets.

“I know people want Prime, OK? Just wait – camp out [at] Asda, get in Asda nice and early and pay £2 for Prime. £2 is way better than £25 a bottle, what? Come on man, this is outrageous. You should not be paying £25 for one bottle of Prime.”

KSI will be back in Boxing action on DAZN on January 14th, as he is set to settle a feud with MMA fighter and former Conor McGregor sparring partner Dillon Danis.

Paul was set to feature on the card and make his return to the ring for the first time since facing Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition in 2021, but he suffered an MCL and ACL tear in his right knee whilst facing Roman Reigns in the WWE.

It's unclear when he will return to action, but KSI will headline a Misfits Boxing card in the second week of January.
