Conor McGregor Has A Massive Mural Of Him Knocking Out Floyd Mayweather In His Gym

Say what you want about whether the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor fight should be happening or whether it's an abomination to the sport of boxing, if you're not at least a little bit hyped to see the two biggest drawing combat athletes in the world come face-to-face for the first time ever, go and politely have a word with yourself.

It's a big fucking circus. Of course it is. There are grotesque amounts of money involved and the fight will be more one sided than Nemanja Vidic vs Kyle Walker, but the build to the 26th August showdown at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is going to be like a hip hop beef happening within the confines of a back alley Dublin boozer. At last orders. For two months.

Before I continue, here's a reminder of Nemanja Vidic vs Kyle Walker, in all it's glory...

While Mayweather has spent the majority of his time since the fight was announced inside his recently opened Vegas strip club, if his Instagram stories are anything to go by, McGregor has been regularly sharing photos of his sparring sessions, usually captioned with a message to his undefeated opponent.

And Notorious' latest posts have taken things a step further, revealing a big, triumphant, fuck off mural on the wall of his gym which depicts the UFC Lightweight champion sending a left hook straight into Money's jaw.

Captioned "I am a filthy Irish animal", I'm not sure what's more impressive; the mural itself or McGregor's incredibly comfortable looking marl grey get up. Prime 'so hungover I'm survivng on Maccy D's and Fanta all day' gear, that.

McGregor's next post, entitled 'tunnel vision' was similarly focused on Mayweather's face taking a battering.

The 28-year-old Irishman is the overwhelming underdog for his bout with Mayweather, but that doesn't seem to be concerning the UFC champion, who is set to earn his biggest ever payday from the fight.

UFC President Dana White has confirmed that McGregor believes he can not only end Mayweather's undefeated 49-0 streak, but he can knock Money out in the process, too.

Should, as expected, Mayweather triumph, it would extend his record to 50-0, surpassing the great Rocky Marciano.

It was reported yesterday that the WBC could put the Diamond Championship - a title introduced for historic fights - on the line for the Vegas clash.
