KSI’s controversial victory over Joe Fournier could be in doubt after the YouTuber’s alleged illegal elbow.

On Saturday night, KSI and Fournier faced off inside a packed-out Wembley Arena as they settled their differences inside the ring.

In the second round, ‘The Nightmare’ inflicted a brutal knockout over his opponent as the contest was stopped.

However, footage from the fight revealed that KSI might have potentially elbowed his opponent.

At the time, fans took to social media to blast the decision to award the victory to KSI, with some saying that boxing has been ruined by the outcome of the bout.

Now, according to Mail Sport, boxing authorities will review the footage from the fight to determine whether KSI elbowed Fournier or not.

After the fight, KSI rejected claims that his knockout shot was illegal, he said: “I hit him with a massive shot. He was dazed and scrambling, trying to hold onto me for dear life. I was like, 'Nah, nah, your soul is mine.’”

Whilst Fournier said: “I know you're fighting the promotion, I know maybe the judges might be in their favour, but for the ref to let a clear elbow... it's been replayed a million times around the world.

“A clear elbow and then they count me out on the elbow. He should be disqualified. That should be a clear win for me.”

KSI’s fellow YouTuber turned Boxer Jake Paul also had his say on the incident.

The American wrote on Twitter: “I respect boxing too much to respect what that was. If that was indeed a real boxing match it will be ruled a no contest or disqualification.”

During the aftermath of the fight, KSI came face to face with Tommy Fury as the pair locked horns.

Fury was heard saying: “Sign me up, easy money. You’re going to sleep within four rounds.”

Who do you think will win if KSI and Fury were to fight? Let us know in the comments.
