Joe Rogan Thinks Jake Paul's Boxing Skills Are Disrespected Because He's A Celebrity

Joe Rogan Thinks Jake Paul's Boxing Skills Are Disrespected Because He's A Celebrity

"Jake Paul can crack. One hundred percent."

Joe Rogan believes Jake Paul isn't given enough credit for his boxing ability because he's a celebrity.

The YouTuber turned boxer is currently 5-0 in his professional career and has knocked out UFC alumni Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley since debuting in 2020.

Despite that, the 25-year-old is ridiculed by many in the fight game and recent comments from Matchroom Boxing head honcho Eddie Hearn rubbed Paul the wrong way.

Rogan defended 'The Problem Child' and his credentials during a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience.

"Jake Paul can crack. One hundred percent," he declared. "That knockout against Tyron Woodley is legit as f**k.

"If Jake Paul wasn’t Jake Paul, if he wasn’t this YouTube guy, he was just a boxer - you see a boxer knock out the former UFC welterweight champion.

"Not just the former, but one of the best ever. You’d be like, 'Have you seen this Jake Paul dude coming up? He’s for real!'"

Paul has an athletic background as does his older brother, Logan.

The duo are two of the biggest names in fighting right now and a number of legends have backed their involvement in the sport, including Mike Tyson.

UFC commentator Rogan went on to break down what impresses him most about Paul.

He continued: "The feints, the foot movement, the way he lands shots. He fights like a boxer. He doesn’t fight like a guy trying to box in a celebrity boxing match."

Paul is set to return to the ring on August 13 and his opponent is currently unknown.

Many have speculated it could be Tommy Fury, the younger brother of current WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

The pair were set to come to blows in December but Fury was forced to pull out due to illness and injury.

Drama Alert host Keemstar, who was the first to report the news of Fury's withdrawal late last year, claims the fight will finally happen this summer.

He stated: "What I'm hearing from my sources that Jake Paul is going to be in fact facing Tommy Fury.

"It looks like Jake is going to give him another chance."

UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping is an outside shot and recently traded barbs with Paul on social media.

Mike Tyson also joked he'd get back in the ring for $1 billion.
