Jake Paul offers Draymond Green $10 million to fight after seeing viral punch video

Jake Paul offers Draymond Green $10 million to fight after seeing viral punch video

It seems Jake Paul saw money in that right hook.

It didn’t take long for Jake Paul to snuff out yet another potential business opportunity.

In light of footage of NBA star Draymond Green throwing a brutal right hook at his teammate Jordan Poole being leaked, the internet boxer has offered the Power Forward $10 million to step into the ring.

Video of the incident leaked to TMZ on Saturday morning (October 8) and showed words being exchanged before Green approached Poole.

The guard shoved Green before the four-time champion fired off with a brutal right hand that clocked Poole square in the face and knocked him against the wall.

And it seems Paul saw dollars in that right hook.

The YouTuber sent out an offer to the Warriors player that included a hefty sum.

He tweeted: “Draymond I got $10 million for you to get in the ring on the next Most Valuable Promotions pay-per-view. Who you want?”

Green has a reputation for being one of the sport’s most notorious agitators and with a right hand like that he’d have some serious knockout power behind him.

Paul even threw up the idea of Green going toe to toe with former NBA star Deron Williams.

Williams took on NFL legend Frank Gore in December last year in an exhibition bout that he won by decision.

However, the ‘Problem Child’ stopped short in putting his own name into the hat, and in typical Jake Paul fashion claimed he would easily take out Draymond.

He tweeted: “To be clear the JP that Draymond slept is Jordan Poole. This JP would sleep Draymond in 1 round.”

Despite the $10 million offer, Paul probably won’t be holding his breath in anticipation of Green accepting.

Green broke his silence and fronted the media for the first time since the incident in which he admitted to being ‘a very flawed human being’ and felt he had ‘failed as a leader’.

Green spoke of the embarrassment that came as a result of the footage surfacing to the public.

He continued: “Number one, I was wrong for my actions that took place on Wednesday. For that I have apologised to my team. I have apologised to Jordan.

“I wanted to take that a step further. With the event yesterday with the video leaking, there is a huge embarrassment that comes with that, not only for myself ... but the embarrassment that Jordan has to deal with and that this team has to deal with and this organisation has to deal with, but also Jordan’s family.

“His family saw that video, his mother, his father saw that video. Quite frankly, if my mother saw that video, I know how my mother would feel.”

As for Jake Paul, he is set to take on perhaps his biggest challenge in the ring yet, when he faces UFC legend, Anderson Silva, on October 29.
