Boxing fans are all saying the same thing about KSI after watching Jake Paul's pad work

Boxing fans are all saying the same thing about KSI after watching Jake Paul's pad work

Footage of Jake Paul hitting the pads has emerged online.

Jake Paul has shared new footage of himself hitting the pads ahead of his upcoming fight and fans are all saying the same thing.

Paul returns to action on August 5 when he takes on former UFC superstar Nate Diaz in an eight-round contest.

He's coming off the first loss of his professional career, having dropped a decision against Tommy Fury in February.

The 26-year-old will look to get back to winning ways against the Stockton slugger and he appears to be in fine form.

That's judging by a recent video of Paul on the pads. Footage has emerged of his handy work, with fans online claiming he'd beat rival KSI. They also reckon Diaz will suffer a punishing defeat based on how the YouTuber-turned-boxer looks in training.

One Twitter user wrote: "Better than KSI."

A second tweeted: "Nate better eat those punches like it’s nothing cuz they for sure landing."

A third added: "Damn definitely improvement. He NEEDS to keep Shane at his corner."

A fourth said: "The fact people actually believe KSI beats Jake baffles me."

Another commented: "Nate is getting torched. Gonna be embarrassing for Nate. Won't be surprised if Nate pulls out."

Paul, who has viciously knocked out Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley in his career, has always packed a big punch.

But he looks more refined having enlisted the help of boxing legend 'Sugar' Shane Mosley.

The 6-1 boxer is excited to show what he's been working on when he faces off against Diaz.

"I brought in a bunch of new people into the team and I’m excited to show people my new skill set on August 5th," he said in the kick-off presser. "I brought in Shane [Mosley] and Theo Chambers, as well as J’Leon [Love] on the team.

"I was talking after the fight and they all identified the same little mistake that I was making in the boxing ring that needed to be fixed, which would allow the rest of my mistakes that I was making to be corrected."
