Background:

Rather than unleashing the traditional barrage of insults towards his opponent, Paul has shown Silva nothing but respect in their build up to the clash.

The US-born Youtube sensation said: “Anderson Silva is the nicest guy in the world and we love him.

“If my opponent is a d***head, I’m going to treat him like a d***head and beat his ass and I think people have seen that side of me.

“But I respect this man. I’m still going to knock him out, but respectfully knock him out.”

Anderson Silva added: “When I’m done, I’m done.

“I just close the door, this is part of my past, thank you, and I’m out. But right now, I’m good.

“I’m continuing doing something very good, doing sparring with good kids, professional fighters, Olympic champions.”
