With the huge matchup between Jake Paul and Anderson Silva just days away, what better way to build to the fight than with a dance-off.
Usually when there’s a Jake Paul boxing match involved a lot of the build up to a fight involves a lot of verbal jabs and general trash-talking.
But with Anderson Silva involved the fight has been centred around respect.
But this is straight up ridiculous.
Before they get set to beat each other up, Paul and Silva engaged in a hellacious battle of dance moves to prove once and for all who is the better dancer.
In what looked to be a film set for promotional material for the fight the opponents are seen toe-tapping and hip-shaking in front of a green screen.
As much as Paul rightfully cops a lot of flack, it’s good to see him having fun and respecting a legend of the combat sports world.
Paul’s boxing promotion, Most Valuable Promotions shared the footage on Twitter.
They asked: “Who won?”
Clearly, Silva takes it out this time.
Some fans were loving it online.
One fan tweeted: “10-8 Anderson.”
Another said: “Silva’s direct deposit just hit.”
A third added: “Silva has already taken the first round.”
However, many clearly felt the pair having a fun time before the matchup didn’t sit well for the upcoming fight and some even claimed it put the legitimacy of the bout in dispute.

One user commented: “This is a joke of a fight. Predetermined winner as well eww.”
A second wrote: “Silva definitely getting a BAG to lose.”
Another shared a similar sentiment: “Yeah no way Silva wins after seeing this, that man really about to tarnish his legacy by taking a payday SMH.”
The UFC legend last fought in MMA in 2020 against Uriah Hall.
Since then he fought in an exhibition boxing match against fellow Brazilian MMA veteran Bruno Machado with that match going the distance and no winner being declared.
Meanwhile, the Silva fight will signal Paul’s sixth professional boxing fight.
He had faced the likes of Nate Robinson, Ben Askren, and Tyron Woodley, but the Brazilian will undoubtedly be his toughest test yet.
