Fans genuinely can't believe who Tommy Fury is in 'talks' to fight next, it's against a boxing icon

John Fury claims Tommy Fury is in talks to fight a boxing legend.

Tommy Fury is in 'talks' to fight a boxing icon in an exhibition bout, claims John Fury.

Fury extended his professional record to 10-0 after narrowly outpointing KSI last month.

His victory over the British YouTuber comes after he defeated Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia.

Having beaten two social media personalties this year, it appears the 24-year-old could return to action against a boxing legend.

That's according to his father John, who has revealed his son is in talks to face Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition bout.

"We’re speaking to Roy Jones Jr; we can do something with him," he told Free Bets.

"I’m giving it some thought at the time of speaking. Roy Jones Jr is a great guy.

"He’s a lovely fella, a standup man and a hall-of-fame great."

When pressed on Fury vs. Jones Jr, 'Big' John replied: "Yeah, maybe it is an exhibition or something, whatever he wants to do.

"We’ve not really spoken in great detail, but he did say over in Saudi 'let’s do something' and we’re all ears.

"We just need to sit down and see what is best for Tommy and Roy Jones Jr."

Jones Jr has competed in two exhibition bouts since retiring from boxing in 2018.

He fought fellow boxing great Mike Tyson before losing a decision to former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis last April.

But the prospect of him facing the active boxer hasn't gone down well with fight fans on social media.

One X user wrote: "Couldn’t give a shit about tommy fury’s boxing career, wannabe world champion but is just going for prize fights, embarrassing, still ducking Viddal tho I see."

A second tweeted: "This is the pro boxer you're talking about? He's worse than Jake Paul. At least Jake is testing himself against boxers now."

A third added: "Why?? No one should give this any attention."

A fourth commented: "Lmao he’s an influencer boxer now, that’s crazy."
