KSI’s next opponent has been 'confirmed' for Misfits 21 - and fans are shocked.

The internet personality was previously scheduled to fight former Premier League footballer Wayne Bridge.

The pair came face-to-face on January 18 at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester.

However, after KSI, 31, verbally abused Bridge, 44, he pulled out of the fight.

"Wayne Bridge, aren't you the guy that let John Terry smash your ex?” KSI said to Bridge.

“You want to go there straightaway do you?” asked Bridge.

A barrage of insults followed, and the pair were separated by several people standing in the ring.

Just two days later, Bridge pulled out and posted a statement to social media.

“Of course, I expected to face some criticism, but I feel like what was said on Saturday crossed a line," Bridge wrote.

"These are deeply personal comments that affect mine and other families involved in the situation. I'm a family man first and my priority is protecting them.

"My opponent is someone that many children look up to around the world, including my kids.

“I hope one day he will look back on this differently. I personally don't want to be involved in these exchanges.”

According to combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani "KSI vs. Dillon Danis is done for March 29 in Manchester. Misfits 21. 185lbs".

KSI took to X shortly after, he wrote: "When I found out I had the opportunity to fight him, I had to take it up.

"I finally get my payback for what he did to me at Misfits 3. That double guard BS won't work with me pussy. See you soon."

Previously, Danis, 31, has had one professional boxing bout - against Logan Paul in October 2023 - which he lost by disqualification after trying to wrestle Paul, 29.

Fans in the comments section of Helwani's post were quick to give their thoughts on the news.

One said: "Can’t wait for the stare down to be the most competitive part of this event."

Another added: "Why would anyone in the world ever want to tune in for a Dillon Danis fight after that last complete stinker he put on? It was embarrassing."

A third commented: "1 person watching this fight is 1 too many. Two flops in a row is diabolical."

While a fourth exclaimed: "Nobody on God‘s green earth wants to see Dillon fight anybody let alone box somebody what a joke."
