Jake Paul has teased a major announcement ahead of his fight with Anthony Joshua amid concerns it could be cancelled.
In just over a week, YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul will face what is undoubtedly the toughest fight of his career as he steps into the ring against former unified heavyweight champion Joshua.
The fight is set to take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida over eight three-minute rounds with the fighters set to use 10oz gloves.
The American was originally scheduled to lightweight world champion Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis on November 14, but the fight was cancelled after Davis was accused of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and intentional infliction of emotional distress by his ex-partner.

And there are now fears that the Joshua fight could also be called off as Paul confirmed that he would be making a major announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

Unsurprisingly, Joshua is a heavy favourite heading into the fight given his boxing pedigree, despite the fact that he is yet to return to the ring after his devastating knockout loss to fellow British heavyweight Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
Many have felt that Paul is clearly out of his depth and could find himself on the receiving end of a brutal beat-down, something that Paul has admitted could be the case after labelling his confidence as 'deluded'.
And it might be that the 28-year-old may have come to his senses ahead of the fight, as he took to social media to confirm he would be making an announcement at 9AM EST (2pm GMT) on Tuesday.
Posting on X, Paul wrote: "9AM EST Tuesday. Major update. Had to be done. It is what it is."
It's unclear exactly what Paul is set to announce or how it could relate to the fight with Joshua, but fans are seriously concerned.
Reacting to the post, one fan wrote: "YOU BEST NOT SAY THE FIGHT IS CANCELLED JAKE."
While one asked: "Come to your senses? Before AJ knocks them out?"

The announcement comes just days after Paul was see sporting a black eye, received following a sparring session with Joshua's fellow Brit Lawrence Okolie.
"I’m sparring a bunch of world champion heavyweights, I think Lawrence Okolie did that to me, he’s like 6ft 6in, 270lbs," Paul said in a live stream on Kick.
