Jake Paul made a bold claim about controversial American speaker Charlie Kirk during a recent podcast appearance.
Throughout his career both on social media and in the boxing ring, Paul hasn't shied away from making some bold or controversial statements.
Just last month the 29-year-old got up on stage to deliver a speech at Donald Trump's rally in Kentucky, with the American president endorsing him to run for office later in life.
However, Paul has since expressed concerns about getting too involved in politics, noting concerns for his safety following the assassination of political commentator Kirk.

Kirk, 31, was speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10 when he was suddenly shot and killed by a spectator.
And, according to Paul, the controversial figure would have inevitably been elected president of the United States someday if he had lived.
Speaking to American comedian Theo Von on the This Past Weekend podcast, Paul claimed tat becoming president one day, for Kirk, “was like his job and his purpose and all of that.”
He added: “Charlie Kirk was clearly going to be the next president.
“Like Charlie would have been the guy. It’s f***ing sad, bro. He’s so f***ing awesome.”

Despite his safety concerns, Paul stated that he was still toying with venturing into politics, saying: "I think it goes back to Marcus Aurelius, of, like, helping society and like that’s the number one thing you can do.
Later stating that if there was a “dumb**** running and opposing, I will enter the game and risk getting assassinated, but I don’t want to.”
Donald Trump endorses Jake Paul to run for office
It's clear that if Paul ever were to seriously run for political office, he would have some serious backing from Trump, who praised the influencer-turned-fighter during his recent rally.
“He’s a great guy,” Trump said after calling Paul to the stage at the event in Kentucky.
"He’s a courageous guy and a talented guy. He’s a hell of a fighter, too.”
The US President revealed that that Paul had his “complete and total endorsement," predicting that he would run for office “in the not-too-distant future," claiming “That’s what we want.”
