Eddie Hearn Leaks 'Script' for Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua Amid Fixed Claims

Eddie Hearn revealed the 'script' for Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua.

Eddie Hearn has revealed the 'script' for Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua amid claims it is a fixed fight.

Paul vs. Joshua is just weeks away as their professional bout will headline a Netflix card in Miami on December 19.

It will be the American's first outing since his unanimous decision victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., and the Briton's first run-out since his crushing knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois last year.

The blockbuster showdown has come under fire given the size disparity, with the bout taking place at heavyweight.

Paul vs. Joshua has also been subjected to claims that it is a fixed fight.

Hearn has rubbished claims that it is a fixed fight, stating it is illegal to fix a pro boxing contest.

But the Matchroom promoter did reveal the 'script' for Paul vs. Joshua as he laid out what will happen when the first bell rings.

Asked whether Paul vs. Joshua is 'scripted', Hearn told iFL TV: "One, it's completely illegal. It's a sanctioned fight where people can place bets on the fight. It's completely illegal to have any kind of script.

"Could you imagine a conversation? 'Hi, Ed. What we're going to do is we're going to come out in the second round, right? We're going to throw a jab'."

The 46-year-old added: "Let me tell you the script for AJ against Jake Paul. The bell's going to go. AJ's going to go out, take the middle of the ring, and he's going to unload the heaviest artillery on Jake Paul's chin he can as quickly as possible, and he's going to knock him spark out.

"If you think this is scripted, wait till you see what happens on December 19, because you will go, 'F**k me'. One thing's for sure, that weren't scripted."

There has been no evidence to suggest any of Paul's fights have been scripted but he has faced accusations throughout his boxing career.

Hearn has vehemently denied suggestions that Paul vs. Joshua has a script.

In a separate interview, he exclaimed: "By the way, just make one thing very, very, very clear. This whole, 'Oh well if it's scripted' - please stop with that bullsh*t. One, we would never, ever enter a fight - by the way that is illegal.

"This is a professional sanctioned contest. Imagine saying to Mike Tyson, 'Yeah mate, don't hit me'. Do you honestly think that Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian would have even the front to say to me, 'Right, here's the proposal, eight rounds, ten ounce gloves but you're only around to throw punches from the fourth round'.

"He's going to go in there and destroy him. That is what he's going to do.

"Eight rounds, ten ounce gloves and the weight was set below 245lbs - which is not easy for AJ - he's been fighting at about 255 lately but we also understand, there's got to be some kind of disadvantage because it's like Father Christmas just came down the chimney with a sack load of cash and went, 'Hello AJ, we're going to give you a wonderful Christmas, here it all is for a little run-out in Miami' and after that you can have a couple of days on the beach.

"You're never going to keep everybody happy, you can't take an Olympic gold medal and you can't take away two world heavyweight championships."
