Eddie Hearn has provided a fresh update on Anthony Joshua after catching up with the star boxer in person following the car accident in Nigeria.
Joshua was involved in a fatal car crash that took the lives of close friends and team members Sina Ghami and Lateef 'Latz' Ayodele.
He returned to the UK for their funeral to pay his respects as he issued an emotional statement on social media.
It remains to be seen whether the former world heavyweight champion resumes his legendary boxing career, having stopped Jake Paul in his last appearance.

But Joshua shared footage of himself hitting pads, working out and riding a stationary bike, with the message 'mental strength therapy' featuring at the bottom of one clip.
Hearn, who promotes Joshua, met up with the 36-year-old and delivered a positive update.

But the Matchroom chief has revealed that 'AJ' will 'take his time to get back on track' after losing his pals in a car crash last month.

Hearn posted an image of himself alongside Joshua in a gym, accompanied with the caption: "Great to catch up with @anthonyjoshua today. His resilience and strength is inspiring. The loss is heavy and he will take his time to get back on track but said he is truly grateful for all the support and the love shown for Latz and Sina."

Hearn has previously claimed that he expects Joshua to take some considerable time away from the sport.
"That's not a conversation that I think anyone's comfortable in having in terms of asking what could be next or what he's thinking," he told Sky Sports.

"That's something that has to come next. You need someone to have their time and to just be left alone, really, to get over, like I said, not just a terrible incident, but just one that you can never prepare for in life. You never, ever want to see anybody you know in any kind of this situation.
"It's heartbreaking. And when the time is right, I believe he will make his decision. You'll hear it from him.
"The future of Anthony Joshua will be told by Anthony Joshua. And that's the only voice you should listen to in that respect."
Joshua returned to the win column following his sixth-round victory over Paul last month.
