A former world champion boxer has offered to replace Tommy Fury against Darren Till.

The highly-anticipated clash between Fury and Till appears to be off.

On Friday, Fury took to social media to cancel his fight against Till after the former UFC title challenger threatened to use MMA moves in their boxing bout.

"I can't believe I'm writing this but I am now not fighting Darren Till on January 18th 2025. For the one simple reason being that Darren has stated over and over that he does not want to abide by professional boxing rules and that if he is loosing [sic] the fight he will resort to kicking and other stupid MMA tactics," the 10-0 boxer wrote in a statement uploaded on his Instagram story.

"I am a professional boxer, I have been out of the ring for over a year and I wanted this to be a great BOXING fight for the fans. I have wasted weeks in training camp. We are working hard to get a new opponent and date. I promise to get a better opponent and better fight for you guys. Good news around the corner."

Till fired back as he slammed Team Fury before calling out Jake Paul, who issued his own response on social media.

The 31-year-old wrote: "Tommy Fury u are the biggest sh*thouse I have ever met in my life do not ever call yourself a fighter again I was selling the fight to make me and you more money you absolute empty head fighting family my ass you and ur dad sh*thouses I don’t need to throw kicks you was getting knocked spark out you divvy we was making bank on this fight cos of me not you I was building it you should be fighting and should be thanking me... over and out... no one wants to fight me... Jake Paul what are you upto you big fat dummy?"

The Liverpool fighter also shed new light on the supposed cancellation of the Fury fight.

Amid the uncertainty over Fury vs. Till, Billy Joe Saunders has offered his services.

The ex-world champion reposted Till's social media post, accompanied with the caption: "Make a [sic] offer I'll step in."

He added: "Old fat gipsy boy will will [sic] take this over from here."

Saunders, who held the WBO super-middleweight world title at the peak of his powers, hasn't fought since his stoppage defeat to Canelo Alvarez back in May 2021.

But it appears he would be willing to return to the ring to face Till, whose fight against Fury remains in limbo.

Saunders, 35, has 31 professional fights to his name and boasts victories over the likes of Chris Eubank Jr., Andy Lee, John Ryder and Martin Murray.
