Conor Benn has revealed that his father, British boxing legend Nigel, 'humiliated' him after he missed weight for one of his fights.
Benn will fight Chris Eubank Jr in a rematch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend, having lost their first fight via unanimous decision at the same venue in April.
The original bout had been a long time incoming, as it was postponed in October 2022 after Benn returned what was described as an 'adverse analytical finding for trace amounts of a fertility drug'.
He was provisionally charged and suspended from boxing by the UK Anti-Doping Agency (UKADA), but the WBC ruled he had not committed an intentional doping offence after adjudging that a 'highly-elevated consumption of eggs' was a 'reasonable explanation' for the adverse finding.

His ban was lifted in October 2024, allowing fight plans to proceed once again.
Prior to the bout, his opponent Eubank Jr narrowly failed to make weight by 0.05 pounds on the day of the weigh-ins, but the pair were both inside the weight limit after a second check on the Saturday morning prior to the fight.
Earlier in his career, during his time in amateur boxing, it was Benn who failed to make weight for one of his fights - and his father Nigel, a former two-weight world champion, responded accordingly.
He told GOAL: "From my amateur days, there are only a few things I remember.
"One was when I missed weight. And my dad, he humiliated me. I missed weight, I was like, 'Who cares? It's nothing'.
"But back then, it was like, 'Dad, I'm fighting in a bingo hall'. But my dad was like, 'You embarrassed the name'. Bearing in mind, it was not even like anything [how much he missed weight by].
"But anyway, I've never missed weight since!"
Much like Eubank Jr vs Benn 1, the second fight will feature Friday weigh-ins and a hydration check on Saturday.
According to talkSPORT, the total fight purse stands at £18 million, with both fighters having agreed a 60/40 split in Eubank Jr's favour.
It is unclear whether their respective legendary boxing fathers, Chris Eubank Sr or Nigel Benn, will be present at the fight, with Eubank Sr having made an unexpected appearance before their first bout before taking part in Eubank Jr's ring walk.
