Anthony Joshua has revealed what is really included in the contract for his fight with Jake Paul.
In April 2017, Joshua announced himself as a boxing superstar with a spectacular knockout win in a fight of the year winning bout with former champion Wladimir Klitschko.
Since then, the Brit went on to unify the heavyweight titles with notable wins over the likes of Joseph Parker, Carlos Takam and Alexander Povetkin.
Therefore, when it was announced that his next fight would be a professional heavyweight bout against influencer Paul, many began questioning the legitimacy of the bout.

But now, Joshua has spoken out to confirm exactly what has been included in his contract ahead of the fight on December 19.

Throughout his career, Joshua has competed in 43 amateur fights and 32 professional fights, 17 of which were for international or world heavyweight titles.
Comparatively, Paul has just 13 fights on his professional record, many of which are against boxing amateurs, former UFC fighters or retired boxers.

Despite this clear disparity in experience, Joshua has promised that there is nothing in his fight contract that will prevent him from performing to the best of his ability when they meet in the ring in just four weeks.
"I'm gonna come to fight. By the way, no stuff in the contract says 'Oh, I can't do this'... I will come to fight," Joshua told Fight Hub TV.
Earlier in the press conference held in the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, Joshua admitted that he is aware that he needs to get a knockout win in the fight, something he is more than confident he will do.
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua promised.

"I'll stomp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

What is included in the contracts for Jake Paul v Anthony Joshua?
Despite rumours that it could be an exhibition fight, like Paul's fight with former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, the heavyweight bout with Joshua will be classed as a professional contest.
