Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua are facing suspension from boxing irrespective of the result in Friday's superfight.
Paul takes on two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua at the Kaseya Center in Miami, with the bout being shown live around the world on Netflix.
Having largely faced off against old MMA fighters, 'The Problem Child' takes on an elite level heavyweight in a dangerous, professional eight-round contest.
As he did when he fought Mike Tyson in an unanimous decision win in Paul is moving up to heavyweight to fight Joshua, who must weigh in at 245lbs for the bout.

A 22x22 feet ring will be used as opposed to the standard size, with Joshua hoping to pummel Paul in his first fight since exiting the heavyweight world rankings due to inactivity since his bruising knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois.
The Paul bout has been labelled a "tune-up fight" for Joshua, who still hopes to fight Tyson Fury in an-all British heavyweight showdown.

But regardless of how the fight plays out, both men will be hit with a suspension from boxing.
The Florida Athletic Commission, with its five members governs and sanctions professional boxing matches in Florida but carries rules from the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports.
Therefore, both Paul and Joshua will be assessed by a physician and required to enter a mandatory seven-day resting period upon conclusion of the fight - with day one beginning on the first day after the bout.
When he was knocked out by Paul in Tampa, Florida in 2024, Mike Perry was handed a 60-day medical suspension by the commission.
A technical knockout typically results in an automatic 30-day suspension - preventing a fighter from any type of boxing activity for that period.

After Paul beat Tyson in a bout which went the distance in November 2024, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations demanded that both fighters be suspended for 24 days - three days for every round they fought.
The regulations are enforced to prioritise the health of fighters and ensure they are given adequate time to recover.
Another bout cannot be sanctioned until a fighter is cleared to compete.
