'Next Time Close Your Fist' - Anthony Joshua Had The Greatest Reaction To Will Smith Slapping Chris Rock

'Next Time Close Your Fist' - Anthony Joshua Had The Greatest Reaction To Will Smith Slapping Chris Rock

Anthony Joshua may have produced the greatest reaction to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars ceremony.

Rock joked Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, looked like G.I. Jane after taking to the stage at the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday.

Pinkett Smith suffers from hair loss condition alopecia and didn't appear pleased with the joke, which saw Smith get out of his chair and slap Rock across the face.

After returning to his seat he told the comedian to keep his wife's name 'out his f**king mouth' to conclude one of the most awkward moments in TV history.

The entire world had their say on the situation and boxing superstar Joshua won the internet with his response.

'AJ' posted a picture of himself and Smith sparring while the latter was promoting 'Men In Black III' back in 2012.

Joshua was a Great Britain Olympic hopeful at the time and looked in awe at the 53-year-old.

He captioned his post: "Proud of you bro. Next time close your fist."

The former WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion had Survivor's 'Eye of the Tiger' playing over the top of that and a clip of Smith slapping Rock.

Joshua lost his last fight to Oleksandr Usyk in September and in turn lost his world titles.

It's expected the pair will go at it once again in the summer, likely in June in Saudi Arabia.

Promoter Eddie Hearn is 'almost certain' of a date ahead of a final set of talks.

He told iFL TV: "I’m almost certain this fight takes place in June rematch.

"I've got more calls with Alex Krassyuk [Usyk's promoter] tonight and this weekend where we’re starting to finalise the date and the venue, but we got to the point where we said, 'we need to know.'

"It appears that the decision has been made that this fight will take place in June.

"We’re over the moon, and I believe Usyk will be moving into camp soon to begin to prepare for this fight."

Usyk returned to his home nation of Ukraine earlier this month to help defend against the Russian invasion but will return to the ring for a rematch with Joshua.
