One college football commentator has left confused fans scratching their heads.

Actually, that's an understatement, he actually left many of us struggling to keep our breakfast down.

ESPN commentator Mike Golic Jr committed perhaps the worst (and most disgusting) food crime known to mankind when he thought it'd be appropriate to dip some Oreos into a jar of mayonnaise.

Yep, seriously.

Golic Jr even had the audacity to lure his co-commentator Anish Shroff into partaking in the heinous act too

"Mike, you came up with this idea, unconventional foods that work with mayonnaise. We're starting with what?" Shroff said.

Golic Jr, with no hesitation, then dunked the delicious Oreo into the mayonnaise and proceeded to eat it.

"Cream-filled cookies here! Let's take a dip," he said.

"It's a really interesting blend of flavours! Thumbs up from me."

Shroff, on the other hand, looked like he was about to throw up as he struggled to chew the - shall we say - unique combination of flavours.

Behind closed doors? Do what you want.

But on national television? Come on now.

Unsurprisingly, the clip has gone viral on social media with thousands of worried on onlookers commenting on ESPN's tweet sharing their concerns - I mean, you can hardly blame them.

Still, kudos to you, Mike!
