Jorge Masvidal Claims Colby Covington Has Herpes As UFC 272 Press Conference Descends Into Chaos

Masvidal also called his rival a "d**k sniffer" before pretending to throw a bottle in Covington's direction.

The UFC 272 press conference exploded as Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington verbally teed off on each other.

The grudge match between the friends-turned-foes is just a matter of days away and tensions well and truly boiled over when the two came face-to-face for the first time in front of the media.

But while it's usually Covington who fires off a couple of questionable below-the-belt shots at his opponents, this time it was Masvidal's turn, claiming his former friend and training partner has a sexually transmitted infection.

"What b***h? You're a phony Montana. You're not Tony Montana, you're a phony Montana," Covington said as the two men stood up and tried to go nose-to-nose before being held back by security.

Masvidal then pretended to a throw a water bottle in his rival's direction, causing Covington to flinch.

"That's clever p***y, you've still got mad herpes bro," Masvidal replied.

"Still got mad herpes... your ex-girlfriend.

When asked for his prediction on the bout, Masvidal said: "It's going to be him sniffing my d**k the whole time, like he always does in every fight. D**k sniffer, d**k sniffer, d**k sniffer... you sniff d**ks for a living bro."

"This guy's illiterate, a dumb f**k. Didn't graduate middle school... You're illiterate, you can't even count. You're a dumb f**k."

This bitter feud has become very personal with claims about unpaid coaches, alleged child support issues and even felony charges all brought to the table and used as ammunition.

It was Covington who went in swinging first, saying: "You forget about your children? You deadbeat motherf***ing dad. You're a deadbeat.

"You lying ass piece of s**t. You lying ass piece of s**t, f***ing b***h."

Masvidal wasn't afraid to fire back though.

"He usually keeps his little b***h well hidden from me, man," he said at one point.

"Little b***h... shut the f**k up, shut the f**k up."

Their face-off was just as heated with both men separated by several huge security guards and police officers.

Interestingly, though, not everyone was onboard with the wild, expletive-laden press conference.
