Noah Lyles has hit back at Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill after he reacted to his $100,000 race with iShowSpeed.

This week Olympian Lyles, who won Gold in the 100 metres event in Paris, took on the streamer in a 50m race with a six-figure fee on the line.

The United States sprinter is one of the fastest men on the planet and is vying to be the one to usurp Usain Bolt, who still holds the record with an incredible 100m time of 9.58 from 2009.

But fans were left astonished after seeing how well Speed performed against Lyles. The 19-year-old, real name Darren Watkins Jr, was close to Lyles as they crossed the finish line and even claimed that it was a tie.

He was in the lead at one point before Lyles pulled away and got in front, showing a bit of complacency and high-stepping on the final stretch.

Speed called for a second race, telling Lyles: "Let’s go again. Let’s do a rematch… You hear him? You hear him? He didn’t even win!”.

Lyles explained that he doesn't "do rematches" and pledged to donate the $100,000 to charity.

The 27-year-old received his fair share of criticism after different angles showed how close the race was, with NFL wide receiver Tyreek Hill weighing in with a dig.

Hill is the definition of a speed demon and clocked in at 23.24 miles per hour. While at college, he recorded a time of 9.98 in the 100 metres, as well as 10.19 on the track at the Golden South classic in Florida.

He has regularly said he would beat Lyles in a race and after seeing his sprint with Speed, Hill took to X to write: "And track athletes think he gone beat me", accompanied by laugh emojis.

Lyles was unmoved, however, and replied: "Awww feeling left out. I’ll dance across the line on you too."

Lyles' best team at 100 metres is 9.79, achieved in Paris over the summer. He has also completed the 200 metres in 19.31 seconds, with Hill's best effort coming in at 20.14 from back in 2012.

Speed also got involved in the conversation and told Hill that he has to "get through" him first before he faces Lyles.

He commented: "Lmao he’s scared to race me but he’s trying to race u, tyreek u gotta get through me first."
