Football icon Ronaldinho showers praise on Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus

Ronaldinho, Brazilian football legend, has been speaking about Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus.

Footballing icon Ronaldinho has waxed lyrical about Gabriel Jesus, insisting he will repay the faith shown in him by Arsenal.

Jesus has been in scintillating form so far this season, with 5 goal contributions in his opening 3 league games.

When the move was announced, the Gunners faithful was bubbling with excitement, however, the extent of the talent gracing London Colney was never truly comprehended.

For the former Ballon D’or winner, the 25-year-old was destined for greatness since he stepped foot on English shores:

“When Gabriel joined Manchester City I said he would go on to be one of the best players in the world.”

“When he was given a chance, he showed what he was capable of”

“But at Manchester City he was never shown the love a player of his quality deserves.”

The undying adoration the Emirates crowd have for their new no.9 is evident, the audible gasps at the continual magic the £45 million man produces.

With this constant support shown to the Brazilian, Ronaldinho expects his compatriot to reach new levels:

"At Arsenal he has been given the chance to be the focal point, he has been shown the love by the coach and the fans, and already he is repaying that.”

“This season I expect big things from him”

“He will repay the love shown in him by showing he is not just one of the best players in the Premier League but also in Europe."

The buzz around Arsenal has been ever increasing as the opening games of the season have gone on, with pundits and fans alike waking up to the project Arteta is constructing.

In the eyes of the Barcelona icon, he sees the project as going full steam ahead:

“Arsenal will get back into the top four this season with the signings they have made - maybe they can even achieve more and challenge for the title.”

“Manchester City look very strong and they will be favourites - but in football anything is possible.”

Arsenal will look to continue their fine early season form this Saturday against Fulham, a game live on Sky Sports at 17.30.

Gabriel Jesus will look to continue his fine form too, as he looks to start his Arsenal career in the best way possible.
