What Graham Potter said ahead of Chelsea's Champions League clash vs AC Milan

The Blues face AC Milan at the San Siro on Tuesday night.

Graham Potter has spoken to the media ahead of Chelsea's Champions League clash against AC Milan on Tuesday night.

Since the head coach's arrival at the club, the Blues are unbeaten in their past four matches, having scored nine goals and conceding just two in all competitions.

Chelsea head to the San Siro off the back of their 3-0 win against Wolves in the Premier League, with Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic and Armando Broja all netting for the west London outfit.

Tuesday night's game will be their fourth in the Champions League this season, with Potter's side competing in Group E of the competition.

They currently sit second, thanks to their emphatic win against Milan last week.

Chelsea are now set to face the Serie A Champions once again, and here's what their head coach had to say during his pre-match press conference:

N'Golo Kante injury

"It is certainly not ideal so we will have to wait and see the extent of it and go from there.

"It's not ideal and it is disappointing for him and for us. We'll have to see the extent of it and go from there."

Getting ideas across to players

"There's not been much time on the training pitch, but you can learn in other ways.

"We've had to use meetings, videos, speak, explain and talk to try to understand where the players are at and how we can help them.

"I've found them (Chelsea players) really receptive and a it's a pleasure to work with them."

Winning at the San Siro

"It's an incredible place here and a very different game.

"AC Milan will try to use the home advantage like we did.

"Two good teams, too evenly matched teams. I'm looking forward to it."

Thiago Silva

"I've been here three or four weeks and I see his qualities. He is an incredible person and player.

"The performance levels he can reach and the amount of respect he has in the game is incredible."

Team news

"In terms of team news, everyone is available, apart from the guys that we mentioned.

"The fact that we could rotate a few has probably helped us in terms of availability for this game.

"Hopefully a bit of freshness because are going to need that, it is going to be a tough match, a really physically demanding game."

Thiago Silva contract

"The decision is Thiago's.

"All I can do is help him enjoy his football here, and the rest is for him and the club to think about."

Importance of winning

"Wins are the best way to convince people that your ideas can work. It's only a short time, so I'm not getting carried away at all, but wins help.

"It's about performance, getting to know the players, the process...

"But at the same time we all know, and you guys (journalists) will remind me, that you need to win as well. It's been a good week, but it's only a week."
