Mason Mount has sent a warning to Chelsea’s Premier League rivals following the signing of Raheem Sterling this summer.
The former Manchester City star ended his seven year affiliation with the club before making a move to Chelsea.
The 27-year-old arrived for £50 million as Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital made their first signings as owners of the club.

Conversations with head coach Thomas Tuchel were positive after his plans and ambitions for the England international were laid out.
This was seen as crucial to getting the deal over the line, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur said to be interested in the forward before he joined the club.
The new signing is joining up with national teammates Reece James and Mason Mount at Stamford Bridge, with the pair excited to play alongside the England international at club level.

Mount has heaped praise on the forward after his official unveiling and first training session as a Blue.
Speaking to The Athletic, Mount sent a message to their Premier League rivals this summer.
When asked about the signing, Mount heaped praise upon Sterling as they seek to challenge at the top of the Premier League, against Manchester City and Liverpool.

Mount admitted: “He is someone you can speak to and get that experience he’s had since 16-17 when he started playing in the Premier League. You don’t have many players who have experienced playing in the Premier League from such a young age and played the whole way through.
“For him, his focus is to just get playing, to be playing regularly. It’s down to him. “We are going to do everything we can to push him and get that level out of him that you know you can.”
The 23-year-old continued to outline the dangers of the former City star.

“He can be so dangerous. I’ve witnessed and seen it playing on the pitch with him,” he continued.
“He is very exciting to play with because you have that connection, you know what he wants. If you can give that to him, he is going to tear teams apart.”
Mount finalised by sending a message of intent to Chelsea’s Premier League rivals, highlighting the magnitude of a signing like Sterling.
He said: “We are a team that wants to win and we have that winning mentality.
“To bring a player like Raheem in, who has been a winner over the last years, is certainly going to make us stronger.

"I can’t wait to see him, he’s going to be buzzing. I have spoken to him a bit, but now he is out here and joining us, I can’t wait.
“When you have a player coming in like that it is only going to make you better as a team.
“Obviously, I know him quite well. I think he is a top, top guy and is going to bring a lot to this group. He is a top character, with a top personality. That’s the type of player he is.”
