Chelsea are eyeing up a shock move for Norwich City's sporting director Stuart Webber, according to reports.
Since the new ownership team, fronted by Todd Boehly, arrived at Stamford Bridge, the Blues have been keen to bring in a sporting director.
Despite their efforts to this stage, they have been unable to do so meaning they are still on the search.

In the summer, Boehly stepped into the role on an interim basis, helping to lead the transfer strategy the Blues took following the departure of lead negotiator and director Marina Granovskia.
The hope is for the Blues to acquire a new sporting director before the World Cup, with head coach Graham Potter having a say in the matter.
Previously, an approach was made for former Liverpool man Michael Edwards, but he rejected a move as he plans to take a break from football.

Chelsea were also close to acquiring Christoph Freund from Red Bull Salzburg.
The clubs were reportedly in advanced talks, but Freund will instead be staying with the Austrian outfit.
Some of the other options Chelsea have spoken to are Luis Campos, Lee Congerton, Paul Mitchell, Monchi Victor Orta and Tim Steidten.
Previously though David Ornstein of The Athletic reported that an appointment to fill the sporting director is not imminent for the Blues.

However, the west London side seemingly have a deal pretty much wrapped up for Christopher Vivell to join as technical director so now they may focus on a sporting director.
As reported by The Sun Chelsea are targeting Webber as their next sporting director.

Webber has previously been sporting director at Huddersfield, and he also has worked for Wolves, QPR, Liverpool and and Wrexham.
In his time at Carrow Road, Webber appointed both Daniel Farke and Dean Smith as managers for Norwich.
He has overseen two promotions to the Premier League with the club, but also two relegations to the Championship.
The Sun continue to report that if he is offered the job, he will likely accept and make the switch from Norwich to Chelsea.
