Tyson Fury Plans To Face Brock Lesnar At Wrestlemania 36

The Gypsy King faces Deontay Wilder in February and a win could earn him a massive payday against former UFC champion Lesnar.

Tyson Fury expects his next fight after Deontay Wilder to be at Wrestlemania 36 later this year, where he plans to face WWE champion Brock Lesnar.

In just six weeks time Fury faces Wilder for the second time, in a rematch from their fight in December 2018, and the Gypsy King has redemption on his mind after a controversial draw in his first fight.

However it seems that Fury is also looking beyond the Bronze Bomber with talkSPORT's Michael Benson reporting that he is eyeing a match with Lesnar at 'Mania' on April 5th.

The undefeated Brit can't afford to look beyond his next opponent though, not least because the world and lineal titles are on the line, because the result against Wilder could impact his future in WWE.

TalkSPORT also reported that the 31-year-old will only get his chance to face former UFC champion Lesnar if he manages to win the rematch with the Bronze Bomber.

As per their report, Vince McMahon would not want to throw a lot of money, and a huge opportunity, at someone who'd just lost a high profile fight on pay-per-view.

Fury is no stranger to the WWE Universe having made a splash with the company in the back end of last year, wrestling on the Crown Jewel pay-per-view.

He first appeared on WWE's FOX debut when he squared up to Braun Strowman before the two men met in a fight at the Saudi Arabia show in October.

The Gypsy King made one final appearance when Smackdown was taped in Manchester in November, cutting a promo and teaming up with Strowman.

It's an interesting development that Lesnar's match at 'Mania' is linked to the outcome of a boxing fight that doesn't take place for another six weeks.

The current WWE champion is due to enter the Royal Rumble later this month as the number one entrant and that match would typically set up what is to come for the Beast Incarnate at the 'Greatest show on Earth.'
