A Manchester City staff member was left seething after a pair of WWE superstars broke a strict rule at the Etihad Stadium.
Back in November 2017, former tag team champions Sheamus and Cesaro, along with WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, were allowed access to the pitch during a United Kingdom Tour.
'The Bar' took part in a number of games, including a penalty shoot-out at the same end which Sergio Aguero scored the most iconic goal in Premier League history.
Cesaro was the victor and came out on top against die-hard Liverpool supporter Sheamus, who hails from Dublin.
But his celebration had a member of the ground staff losing his mind as he went against strict orders and performed a knee slide right by the corner flag - leaving a huge mark in the turf.
Fearing the worst, the duo wasted no time in scarpering from the pitch before they got a stern telling off - though City did at least upload the footage on their YouTube channel in a video which amassed more than 660,000 views.
Ahead of another upcoming UK tour which includes a stop-off in Manchester, Sheamus told SPORTbible: "I did a lot of stuff at City because they knew I wouldn’t do it at United!
“Me and Cesaro, we took penalties on the pitch and I wore my Liverpool jersey. He wore the Man City jersey.
“The groundsman, we were told not to slide on the pitch and Cesaro beat me in the penalty shoot-out, he ran across the pitch and did a knee slide.
“The groundsman comes running out and we just took off and though, ‘We’re getting out of here’.
“Those groundsman, they are just on another level and they are so focused. It’s they’re baby, right? I’ve never seen anything like it – going over every inch of grass.”

Sheamus and Cesaro had already started mischief in Manchester as the previous night, they competed for the tag team titles against on an episode of Raw.
But as they made their entrance to the ring prior to the bout with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, the duo unveiled Liverpool shirts and were met with a deafening chorus of boos.
Sheamus generated even more heat by singing Liverpool's anthem You'll Never Walk Alone' and views it as one of his career highlights.
He explained: “We’re in Manchester and I’d do something there before – I think I wrestled Roman and I went out there and sang ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’. The place went bananas.
“When we were there doing TV in Manchester, me and Cesaro were going after the tag titles. And I had a great idea, let’s get the kit, the kilt and the jackets and we can hide them.
“I went in to the boss at the time and he was like, ‘Why would you do that? You’re Irish!’.
“I said, ‘You don’t understand, it’s going to be great doing it in Manchester’. So we did it and the people went crazy. They lost their minds."
The Celtic Warrior continued: “And when we won the titles at the end, a glass bottle just whizzed by my head and it missed me by this much.
“It was epic. I was like, ‘This is so much heat, this is the best!’.
“The step just below that was putting Gary Neville in a clover-leaf on the podcast, that was just below in Manchester in full Liverpool kits.”
