WWE legend John Cena appeared naked in bizarre moment at 2024 Oscars

WWE legend John Cena appeared naked in bizarre moment at 2024 Oscars

John Cena presented an award while appearing nude at the 2024 Oscars.

WWE legend John Cena was responsible for the most memorable and bizarre moment at the 2024 oscars after presenting an award while appearing naked.

The biggest names in Hollywood piled into the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the 96th edition of the Academy Awards.

Cena was in attendance after a successful transition from wrestling into recent years and he was the talk of the town afterwards.

The joke has always been that nobody can see the 16-time world champion but it was definitely the case on Sunday evening as Cena presented the best Costume Design award nude.

The 46-year-old, who recently joined OnlyFans, came on stage wearing nothing but sandals and a watch, with the envelope containing the winner just about hiding his manhood.

The skit came after host Jimmy Kimmel joked about how a streaker interrupted the presenting of the same award 50 years ago.

Cena peeked his head through the stage set and had a back and forth with Kimmel, who rinsed him for wearing 'jorts' while wrestling and encouraged him to follow through.

The A-list audience erupted in laughter, with Cena's friend and two-time co-star Margot Robbie covering her mouth in disbelief.

With the envelope covering his modesty, Cena was unable to open it but eventually it was announced that Poor Things was the winner.

After putting on a toga that made him look like a Roman gladiator, Cena was then seen shaking hands with fellow wrestling superstar-turned-actor and former rival The Rock after coming back through the curtain.

Having recently returned to WWE, The People's Champion is slated for a first match since 2013 at this year's WrestleMania - teaming with cousin Roman Reigns to take on Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

Cena is also hoping to be in action, recently saying he is "crossing my fingers" during an appearance on ESPN's First Take.

His last match was a defeat to Solo Sikoa in Saudi Arabia and Cena has gone on record to say he envisions retirement from the ring before he is 50.
