WWE fan goes viral for outrageous public outburst following WrestleMania main event result

The main event result of WrestleMania 39 has certainly not landed well with wrestling fans, but one angry spectator, in particular, may have gotten a bit carried away.

Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes to close out night two of the event and retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The result didn’t sit well with many WWE fans who felt as though this was the perfect opportunity for the uber-popular Rhodes to capture the main prize in wrestling.

It was a fantastic back-and-forth main event filled with drama and emotion, and it felt like the American Nightmare was going to get his crowning achievement to the delight of everyone.

However, the WWE and Roman Reigns had different plans as Bloodline member Solo Sikoa interfered and cost Rhodes the match.

It’s a finish that has become commonplace in the champion’s defences and has become incredibly stale to many fans.

And one fan that was actually in attendance at SoFi Stadium simply couldn’t handle the result.

The wrestling enthusiast has gone viral after fellow fans filmed him going absolutely off his nut in an outrageous outburst.

He hits his chair and yells toward the ring while waving around his hands.

He then walks down the stairway toward the barricade on the second level of the stadium and gets even more animated - as if the WWE would take notice of his reaction if he got a bit closer to the ring.

Hilariously, as Roman Reigns' music plays and the fan yells in conjunction, fireworks go off which presumably only angers him even more.

It’s a truly embarrassing reaction with fans around him clearly uncomfortable with the scenes playing out.

Although he was the only one making his visible anger known, his sentiment was very much reflected online - albeit in a less aggressive manner.

One fan tweeted: “I am in disbelief, what the F**K just happened?!"

Another said: “They took away Cody Rhodes moment to get Roman Reigns over 1,000 days as champ. Kinda bulls**t.”

A third added: “How Cody Rhodes doesn't defeat Roman Reigns is beyond me. WWE scriptwriters better have the greatest plot of all time building up cause what the f**k."

A fourth commented: “They f**king fumbled Cody Rhodes, the biggest import from their rival promotion in the main event of WrestleMania just for a stupid 1,000 days record nobody will care or remember in a couple of years.”

We’re sure people had a similar outburst, but at least in the privacy of their own homes.
