Fans have been reacting on social media after seeing what happened during WrestleMania 41.

On Saturday night, all eyes were fixated on the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise. Nevada.

In the main event, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and CM Punk shared the ring as they battled for glory.

Towards the end of the contest, there was a huge plot twist as Paul Heyman, who has managed Reigns and Punk, entered the ring with a steel chair.

The 59-year-old handed the chair to Punk, seemingly turning his back on Reigns.

However, as Punk looked to finish the job on Reigns, Heyman hit him with a low blow, which left the entire stadium stunned.

Heyman was then heard shouting: "You made me choose!"

Eventually, the chair was handed to Rollins, who smacked it into the back of Reigns and pinned him after a curb stomp.

Punk and Reigns were left dejected inside the ring as Heyman and Rollins walked through the curtain together during what was a dramatic night in the world of WWE.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: "CM Punk got robbed again. L main event."

Another tweeted: "The greatest plot twist we needed."

A third fan added: "A turn just for the sake of a turn that makes zero sense in storyline."

Someone else wrote: "Did not see this coming from miles away."

A fifth commented: "Seth Rollins has finally defeated CM Punk. Roman Reigns has never defeated Seth Rollins ever. Seth Rollins deserved this moment. Unbelievable Main Event."

Another fan added: "How dare Paul screw over The Tribal Chief and the Second City Saint!!!? Now Roman needs a new Wiseman. Time to regroup a NEW Bloodline!"

After the dramatic end to the first night of WrestleMania, more drama is set to happen when the second main event takes place between Cody Rhodes and the legendary John Cena for the WWE Championship.
