Jarrod Bowen was undoubtedly one of the stars of the 21/22 Premier League season with 24 goal contributions in 36 games.

The West Ham star earned his debut vs Hungary in a 1-0 loss for the Three Lions impressing in a lively performance whilst also receiving a round of applause in training for earning his first cap

Bowen has risen from playing for Hull City in the Championship for three seasons before being transferred to West Ham, being a constant nuisance for Premier League sides with his dangerous pace and runs in behind even earning praise from Jurgen Klopp calling the Englishman ‘unbelievable’.

Bowen’s favored position and the one he thrives in the most is right-wing where the Hammers narrowly missed out on a Europa League spot.

In an interview with England’s Youtube channel Bowen divulged his support for David Beckham growing up after the official England twitter account posted a picture of him in the iconic ‘mohwak’ style that Golden Balls used to wear: “When I got the call up there was that picture of me with the mohawk and I think it was a fake England top.

“It was Beckham growing up so I had the red mohawk. I don’t know why it was red, I don’t think he ever dyed his hair red, but he had the mohawk, the number seven so he was the one growing up.

“I followed Man United a bit growing up as well but I think I more followed him because I thought he was cool. Him growing up, me supporting Man United trying to copy him with that picture and, as soon as I got sent it, I knew it was going out.”
