Michael Bisping Responds To Conor McGregor's Dig Over 'One-Eyed Fighter'

Michael Bisping Responds To Conor McGregor's Dig Over 'One-Eyed Fighter'

Michael Bisping has hit back at Conor McGregor, after the Irishman called Bisping 'one-eyed' and suggested he was an easy fight for Georges St-Pierre.

Last week McGregor certainly caused a stir across UFC, not for the first time, by listing his greatest of all time, and in typical fashion put himself joint first with Anderson Silva.

GSP was put down at three and one reason was for not moving up in weight until fighting a "one-eyed fighter", which was Bisping. Now the first ever British UFC champion has hit back.

The 41-year-old finished his career with the most fights in UFC history, a record that has since been surpassed by Donald Cerrone, and has the third-most wins in the promotion's history.

He captured the middleweight title at UFC 199 as a late replacement to beat Luke Rockhold but lost the title to GSP at UFC 217, in the Canadian's comeback fight and first at the weight.

Bisping also beat Silva in 2016, in the fight before winning the championship, something his fans also used to defend 'The Count' from McGregor's jibe.

McGregor's 'GOAT' thread certainly got people talking with Silva looking up for a fight and Jones also responding and it came just weeks after he called out the entire lightweight division, following Justin Gaethje's win over Tony Ferguson.

It's not known when the Irishman will get back into the octagon, or against whom, but there has been talk of a possibly July fight against Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title on 'Fight Island'.

If 'The Notorious' wins a title at a third weight in UFC then his claims to be the greatest of all time may just grow, and not just from him.
