It looks like a potential rematch between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is OFF the cards.

The lightweight champion's Uncle, Alex Nurmagomedov, revealed that Khabib was offered a rematch but rejected the $15 million pound offer on the table.

Of course, UFC president Dana White revealed earlier in the month that McGregor had asked him for another fight with Nurmagomedov, and it seems Khabib has turned it down in favour of other opportunities.

In terms of the other opportunities, it seems Khabib wants to fight Tony Ferguson, and then finish his career, according to Nurmagomedov's interview with Russian newspaper Sport Express.

"He will not fight him for any money. Yes, I know that they are offering him a rematch. From the start, they offered him $15m, if he agrees." he said.

"But Khabib said no. Let Conor stand in line, let him fight with others. Khabib wants to fight [Tony] Ferguson, and then finish his career."

Alex went on to claim that a fight between Khabib and Tony Ferguson could happen next spring, with the months of April and Mat being mentioned in the interview.

"We planned to have a fight with Tony Ferguson. They expected to hold this fight in April-May. and after this battle, they planned to end Khabib's sports career."

But it seems a challenge with undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather could also be on the table - or it could be just pure speculation.

Khabib mentioned the fact that he put McGregor on his arse when Mayweather didn't despite beating him by TKO in the Las Vegas cross-over boxing bout in an online clip this week:

"Hey let's go Floyd, we have to fight now," the UFC Lightweight title champ says in a video doing the rounds. "50-0 versus 27-0. Two guys, never never like lose. In the jungle, only one king.

"Of course I am the king because he cannot drop McGregor. But I dropped him easily!"

Who should Khabib face next?
