Elsewhere on the card, Rose Namajunas will take on Jessica Andrade and Paige VanZant will return after 18 months out facing Amanda Ribas.

Usman defending against Burns is said to be a last minute decision, with Ariel Helwani reporting UFC were negotiating to have 'The Nigerian Nightmare' defend against Jorge Masvidal as late as yesterday.

However, UFC could not come to an agreement with 'Gamebred' which has resulted in Burns getting the title shot.

White also revealed on Tuesday that 'Fight Island' will stage three more events in addition to UFC 251, with Fight Night on July 15, July 18 and then July 25.

UFC released a statement alongside promotional images for 'Fight Island' which read: "To accommodate existing public health guidelines, DCT Abu Dhabi will create a safety zone within the nearly ten square mile (25 km2) Yas Island that will include an arena, hotel, training facilities, and dining establishments.

"This safety zone will only be open to UFC athletes and their coaches; UFC staff and other event personnel; and Yas Island employees who are necessary to ensure the operation of the facilities."
