Till picked up a much-needed win at UFC 244 by beating Kelvin Gastelum via split-decision on his middleweight debut.

His win over Gastelum put him into the top five of the 185lbs division, and he has now set his sights on No.3 ranked contender Romero.

Till took to social media to call out 'Solider of God' but immediately regretted his decision the morning after.

"Let's go Yoel Romero," Till wrote on Instagram before expressing his regret a few hours later.

Till initially wanted no part of Romero. "F**k that guy. I don't want to fight him," he said at the UFC 244 post-fight press conference.

But it appears he has changed his tune on fighting the wrestling powerhouse.

Former UFC middleweight king Robert Whittaker was impressed with Till's performance in New York and believes a showdown is inevitable.

"I can see him, he's going to stay in the middleweight division and he's going to be dangerous," he said. "Now he's in the top-five. I'm going to have to fight him."

Till's dream fight is a match-up against current UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya at Anfield.
