According to MMA Daily, Diaz made a whopping $2,070,000 from his loss to the 31-year-old Irishman.

The Stockton native, who made his sensational UFC return last year, made $2m to show and added $50,000 for 'Fight of the Night' bonus and $20,000 for Reebok sponsorship.

Diaz last fought in November in his controversial doctor's stoppage defeat to Jorge Masvidal for the BMF title at UFC 244.

MMA Daily said that Diaz's earnings are for his UFC fights only and does not 'include any PPV bonuses or other bonuses, Reebok sponsorship pay came in to effect at UFC 189.'
