Khabib Nurmagomedov has claimed that he would gladly take on Tony Ferguson in an empty arena - as fans would 'recognise the champion'.
UFC president Dana White has explained the fight will still be happening and the lightweight champion is fired up for it.
'The Eagle' posted to Instagram: "Just close us in the arena and you will recognize the champion.

It's clear to see that UFC chief White is behind the idea, liking the post himself.
Khabib has been set to take on 'El Cucuy' on four separate occasions in the past and all four have been called off multiple reasons.
But the duo are keen to finally square off despite the impact the COVID 19 outbreak will have on attendance.

UFC are one of the only sports still running and White insists it will remain that way.
Speaking after UFC Brasilia on Saturday night, 'The Baldfather' told ESPN's SportsCenter per USA Today:
"Unless there's a total shutdown of the country where people can't leave their houses and things like that, these fights will happen.
"We're gonna move on. These guys will compete. We will find venues, and we will figure this thing out. I mean, the only thing that's gonna stop us is a complete government shutdown where everyone is confined to their homes."

He also commented on a potential venue for Khabib vs Tony and he stated:
"So, we had possibly a couple of different venues for that fight, including Nevada. So now the whole Nevada thing went down. We're looking for another venue.
"I hope by 10 o'clock (Sunday) morning I should have two venue options for that fight. That fight will happen. It will go on. The fans are all freaking out, but don't worry. That fight will happen."
Do you think Khabib and Tony will face off next month?
