And White has expressed his interest in resigning the former UFC heavyweight champion if he's "seriously interested" in fighting the ex-UFC light-heavyweight title holder.

When asked about Lesnar vs. Jones, he replied: "It would be a good introduction for Jones into the heavyweight division. If they wanted to do it, I would do it."

Lesnar hasn't fought in the UFC since July 2016. He last fought at UFC 200 when he beat Mark Hunt.

But the result was overturned to a no-contest after he failed a post-fight drug test.

Jones, meanwhile, hasn't fought since controversially beating Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 in February.

And he wasted no time in responding to rumours of Lesnar potentially returning to the UFC.

On Twitter, he called him out: "Brock I'll beatcho ass too."

Lesnar is attracting plenty of interest from the MMA world with Bellator president Scott Coker also keen on working with 'The Beast Incarnate'.
