He's in line to face the winner of the upcoming championship bout between Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou.
And ahead of competing for the UFC heavyweight title, Tyson has given his take on 'Bones' moving up in weight.
Speaking to Dana White on his podcast, he said: "There's gonna come a time where a guy like Ngannou is gonna hit him."
"Then we're gonna see if he can take the heavyweight punches. It's gonna happen.
"They're very aggressive too so they're gonna be able to lay hands on him, so we're gonna see what he really has."

Jones hasn't fought since beating Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 back in February 2020.
He's bulked up in preparation for the jump to heavyweight as he vows to become a two-weight UFC champion.
"I'm finally at a point where I can see that as clear as day, I acknowledge that comfortably and confidently," he tweeted.
"As soon as I can get my pay reflecting that, buckle up, it's going to be a wild ride. The legacy continues."

In another tweet, he added: "The current champion is 38, I'm only 33, Mark my words eventually I will have that belt around my waist. There's no rush.
"I'll just keep building my body, I'll focus on doing all the right things outside of the octagon, and hopefully one day the company will see more value in me."
