Jake Paul Fires Back At 'Kumquat' Chimaev In Savage Put Down, UFC Star Responds

Jake Paul wasted no time in firing back at Khamzat Chimaev after he claimed he could 'smash' the Paul brothers on the same night.

Chimaev made a triumphant return to the Octagon, submitting Li Jingliang in the first round of their welterweight bout at UFC 267 last month.

'Borz' emphatically reintroduced himself to the MMA world following a lengthy period away from the sport as he battled Covid-19.

The hype for the 27-year-old is through the roof and he's capitalising on the fame by calling out 'The Problem Child' on social media.

On Twitter, he posted a picture of himself next to the Paul brothers, accompanied with the caption: "I can smash this guys same night BOXING."

Well, Paul swiftly responded in ruthless fashion as he continued his attack on UFC fighter pay.

He tweeted: "Listen Kumquat... you are just another UFC fighter pretending you can box. Sit down, shut up and pray you get paid fairly."

That was not the end of the exchange between Paul and Chimaev.

The UFC star responded to the 4-0 boxer's claim, tweeting: "You number-one bullsh*t bro."

He then shared another picture online.

Paul is preparing for his fifth professional fight against Tommy Fury while Chimaev could return to action before the end of the year.

Could Paul and Chimaev meet down the line? Watch this space.
