Weidman's fight with Hall ended in just 17 seconds officially, with the Jamaican winning by TKO without throwing a single strike or showing any offence.
Former middleweight champ Weidman threw a leg kick in the opening seconds of round one but the contact instantly snapped the 36-year-old's leg.
The first man to beat Anderson Silva in UFC instantly went down and the fight was called off by referee Herb Dean with hall being called the winner in unfortunate circumstances.

Holy.
Weidman just kicked Uriah Hall SECONDS into their fight and his leg snapped. The exact same thing that happened to Anderson Silva against Weidman. This is absolutely horrific.

What made the whole incident truly bizarre is the incredible mirroring of what happened in Weidman's second victory over UFC legend Silva.
The Brazilian landed a number of kicks early in the second round at their rematch at UFC 162, as he went looking to win back the middleweight title.
Weidman checked the final kick, which snapped Silva's leg in similar fashion to Sunday night and the Spider lost as Dean waved it off.

The fight between Hall and Weidman was the second fight on the main card at UFC 261 and the first fight had also ended just to an injury.
Anthony Smith landed a first round leg kick to Jimmy Crute, which left the Australian hobbling. Crute tried to start the second round but collapsed under his leg before it could start and the referee waved it off.
