UFC 262 is almost here and it will see a new lightweight champion crowned as Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler square off in the main event.
The fight will determine the replacement for UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov on top of the mountain at 155 pounds.

Nurmagomedov announced his retirement after sensationally submitting Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 - with the belt becoming vacant.

It's the title fight that Conor McGregor would have anticipated competing in, but after a shock loss to Poirier, things have had to shift up.
Charles Oliveira walks into the Octagon having won his last seven bouts, seven of which were stoppages.
Meanwhile, his counterpart and former Bellator lightweight champ, Michael Chandler enters the contest with a ton of hype as he attempts to secure UFC gold in just his second appearance.

Before that, in the co-main event, former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson and rising contender Beneil Dariush clash in a fight that is nailed on to end in a knockout.
Previously, a five-round non-title bout between Nate Diaz and Leon Edwards was supposed to be the co-main, but that has been pushed back to UFC 263 in June.
Nonetheless, Saturday's card show blow fans away with two huge fights at the top of the card.

When is UFC 262?
UFC 262 is taking place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on May 16.
This will be the second event UFC event in the United States since UFC 248 in March 2020 that a full capacity will be inside a facility.

UFC 261 was the first event with allowing 100 per cent attendance.
What time will it be on?
Fans in the UK should prepare themselves for a late one - this is not a card you want to miss.
The card is due to start around 3am on Sunday, May 16 with the early prelims kicking the event off at 11.30pm (BST), before the pay-per-view main card begins at 3am.

Fight fans will be pleased to know the event isn't on pay-per-view.

Charles Oliveira is, perhaps, the best submission artist in the history of the sport - boasting an uncanny ability to submit an opponent from any position.
He showed his wrestling expertise in his last fight against Tony Ferguson, but that might be neutralised, as his upcoming opponent Michael Chandler is, himself, an incredibly decorated wrestler.
Chandler is one of the most explosive and powerful fighters in the entire division, with UFC fans witnessing just that in his last fight against Dan Hooker.
He also has the gas tank needed to go the full five rounded if needed, but we expect Chandler to make quick work of this with a first-round knockout on the cards.
Beneil Dariush vs Tony Ferguson

UFC 262 will see an exciting lightweight clash between Tony Ferguson and Beneil Dariush go down in the co-main event.
Ferguson is perhaps one of the best, if not the best, lightweight to ever grace the Octagon.
However, recent defeats to Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira claimed an end to his eight-year-long undefeated streak spanning over 12 fights.
As for Dariush, he is currently on a six-fight winning streak in the lightweight division.
He last earned a split decision against Diego Ferreira in February.
