Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund completed the permanent signing of Paco Alcacer on Friday and are now hoping to land Achraf Hakimi on a permanent basis as well.

Alcacer was originally on-loan at Dortmund from Barcelona, however, after the striker bagged nine goals in seven appearances the German giants decided to meet the 23million Euros clause in the contract to make the move permanent.

The Spanish forward signed a deal keeping him at Dortmund until 2023, and speaking at a press conference today, their CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke welcomed him to the club, saying: Welcome Paco Alcacer. We will try to sign Achraf Hakimi too, but it will be difficult."

Hakimi is on a two-year loan deal from Real Madrid and has played a crucial role in Dortmund's rise to the top of the Bundesliga.

The Moroccan has also found the back of the net once and set up a further three in his eight league appearances this season.

However, unlike Alcacer, Hakimi doesn't have an option to buy clause in his contract and showing great potential at just 20-years-old Watzke admits it will tough to get Madrid to sell him.

"It will be hard work convincing Real Madrid to hand over Achraf Hakimi. Especially as full-backs at this level are currently sparsely sown," the Dortmund boss added.

Meanwhile, following their 2-1 victory over Mainz yesterday, Dortmund are now seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga and nine points ahead of Bayern Munich, who are fifth.

7/10 says that Dortmund now go on to win the league, while Bayern are still as short as 7/5 to make a remarkable come back and win the Bundesliga.
