Roger Federer made his tennis return with a win over a highly-ranked Australian Open star as fans all made the same point.
Federer called time on his storied career in 2022 after winning an impressive 20 Grand Slam titles, including six titles at the Australian Open.
He has returned to Australia for this year's competition, where he is set to play an exhibition match, which will also feature Andre Agassi, Patrick Rafter, and Lleyton Hewitt.
Before playing against his fellow legends, the Swiss icon enjoyed a solid hit-out with Casper Ruud before they played a competitive tiebreaker.

Federer only met Ruud, who is the No.12 seed at the Australian Open, once during his distinguished career, beating him in straight sets at the 2019 French Open.
And he once again got the better of his Norwegian counterpart in a tiebreaker, winning 7-2.
Federer, now 44, rolled back the years as he fired down some impressive serves and hit a brilliant backhand return winner.

He played with a smile on his face and looked gracious as ever when he was in full swing on the court.
Ruud, who also enjoyed himself, likely wasn't playing at his maximum but considering Federer's age, he impressed tennis fans on social media and they even reckon he could reach the latter stages of this year's Australian Open if he entered.
One X user said: "Roger would still be within the top 10 if his body held up."
A second added: "Even at this age I can bet that he can easily beat many on the tour and with some match practice, he can even reach the quarters at AO."

A third commented: "Roger must be shocked to see the level of today’s top 10."
Speaking after his tiebreaker with Ruud, Federer was asked for his favourite Australian Open memory to which he replied with a classic final against Rafael Nadal.

"The 2017 Nadal final... how can we forget that one," he said. "One of the most special matches in my life. I also became world No.1 for the first time when I beat Fererro here in 2004, this was obviously very special for me to make it to world No.1.
"I’ve had Davis Cup matches here, I’ve had night sessions, day sessions, blowout wins, tough losses... I’ve had it all and the fans have always been behind me and I’ve felt at home here. It’s been an absolute privilege to be here over the years."
Federer will return to the court on Saturday when he takes part in a legends doubles match at the official opening ceremony of the Australian Open.
