Novak Djokovic has previously spoken about Jannik Sinner's doping ban ahead of their Wimbledon semi-final clash.
On Wednesday afternoon, both Djokovic and Sinner were in action as they looked to secure a place in the last four of Wimbledon.
World number one Sinner easily brushed aside American Ben Shelton, winning 7-6 (7-2), 6-4, 6-4.

Meanwhile, Djokovic was made to work for it as Flavio Cobolli took the first set before the Serbian came out 6-7 (6-8), 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 winner in four sets.
As a result, Djokovic and Sinner will play for a place in the Wimbledon final, with the pair taking to the court on Friday afternoon.
Earlier in the year, Sinner made headlines after it was confirmed that he had accepted an immediate three-month ban from tennis.
Sinner had reached a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency after two positive drug tests in 2024.
Back in August 2024, it was reported by the BBC that Sinner “tested positive for low levels of a metabolite of clostebol - a steroid that can be used to build muscle mass”.
At the time, the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) stated that Sinner had been contaminated with the substance by his physiotherapist, after he had been applying an over-the-counter spray in Italy to a cut in his own hand before carrying out treatments on the 23-year-old.

In February this year, Djokovic, who is currently chasing his 25th Grand Slam title and a record-equalling eighth Wimbledon crown, spoke about Sinner's ban.
He said: "There’s a majority of the players that I’ve talked to in the locker room, not just in the last few days, but also last few months, that are not happy with the way this whole process has been handled.
"A majority of the players don’t feel it’s fair. A majority of the players feel like there is favouritism happening. It appears that you can almost affect the outcome if you are a top player, if you have access to the top lawyers."

The 38-year-old continued: "Simona Halep and Tara Moore and some other players that are maybe less known that have been struggling to resolve their cases for years, or have got the ban for years … there is so much inconsistencies between the cases.
"Sinner has got a suspension for three months because of mistakes and negligence of his team members, who are working on the tour. This is also something that I personally and many other players find strange.
"Now it’s a ripe time for us to really address the system, because the system and the structure obviously doesn’t work, anti-doping, it’s obvious. I hope that in the near future the governing bodies are going to come together and try to find a more effective way to deal with these processes. It’s inconsistent, and it appears to be very unfair."
The Wimbledon ballot may have closed for another year, but it’s not too late to buy advance tickets if you know where to look.
