On Tuesday, Raducanu returned to the tennis court after losing to Jessica Pegula at the China Open in Beijing last week.
The Brit was up against American star Ann Li in the round of 64 at the Wuhan Open.
However, to the surprise of many, Raducanu dropped the first set 6-1.

In the second set, Raducanu was down 4-1 and called for a medical timeout after the 22-year-old's energy level looked increasingly concerning.
During a changeover, Raducanu received medical treatment and had her blood pressure checked.
Speaking on Sky Sports at the time, commentator Jonathan Overend said: "I do feel maybe she should have called for attention earlier in the match when it was clear that she wasn't feeling herself.
"I suppose you're proud out there, you don't want to give anything away to your opponent, you don't want to let anyone know that you're not feeling great, but the bottom line is health has to be the utmost priority."

Following the medical timeout, Raducanu confirmed her retirement as she shook hands with Li before heading off court.
While Raducanu struggled in Wuhan, Novak Djokovic also had to deal with health issues in Shanghai, where the men's ATP 1000 event is taking place.

During his match with German Yannick Hanfmann, Djokovic was seen vomiting but eventually came away with a 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 win.
Speaking after the match, Djokovic spoke about the tricky conditions, he said: "It's the same for every player out on the court, but it's brutal.
"It's brutal when you have over 80 per cent humidity day after day, particularly for the guys when they're playing during the day with heat, with sun, it's even more brutal."
He continued: "For me, biologically it's a bit more challenging to deal with it. But I had to really weather the storm today."
